Content Repurposing skill
The playbook Moonrank's Writer Agent uses to turn one source asset into many channel-native pieces — extract the claims, reshape per channel, never copy-paste.

What is the Content Repurposing skill?
The Content Repurposing skill is how Moonrank's Writer Agent multiplies a proven asset: extract every standalone claim, number, and example, map each to the channel where that kind of idea performs, and rebuild it in the channel's native shape — with zero sentences surviving verbatim.
It's written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that people and AI agents can both follow. Read it to mine your own back catalog, hand it to whoever runs your social channels, or let the Writer Agent derive the pieces and schedule them.
Downloading the playbook is free with a Moonrank account. Mining every new asset for derivatives and keeping the channels fed on a stagger is what the Writer Agent does.
See it in action
“We spent three weeks on our benchmark report and it got one week of attention. Now what?”
The report contains 14 standalone claims — you published one link post about it. The mining pass turns it into 11 pieces: three contrarian findings become LinkedIn posts, four stat comparisons become X threads, the methodology becomes a newsletter deep-dive, two charts become standalone visual posts, and the most-debated finding becomes a short video script. Staggered over six weeks, one claim per piece, no sentence pasted — that report now feeds your channels for a quarter instead of a week.
From input to fix list
- 1
You provide the source asset
A piece with proof of demand — traffic, replies, rankings — and the channels to feed.
- 2
Moonrank extracts the claims
Every standalone claim, number, and example in the source, each a candidate piece.
- 3
It maps claims to channels
Contrarian takes to LinkedIn, numbers to X, depth to the newsletter, questions to video.
- 4
It rebuilds and staggers
Each claim rewritten in the channel's native shape, scheduled across 4–8 weeks.
Everything it checks
Source qualification
Only assets with proven demand get multiplied — a dud repurposed is a dud everywhere.
Claim extraction
Every standalone claim, number, and example listed — the prose itself is not the unit.
Channel mapping
Each claim routed to the channel where that kind of idea historically performs.
Native rebuilds
Channel-specific hooks, length, and tone — zero sentences copied from the source.
Staggered schedule
Pieces spread over 4–8 weeks so the idea compounds instead of burning in a day.
Performance re-mining
Winning claims tracked per channel and pulled back into future sources.
When to reach for it
- Get a quarter of distribution out of an asset that took weeks to make.
- Feed five channels from one production pipeline without pasting excerpts.
- Give each channel content in its native shape instead of leftovers.
- Find the proven angles in your back catalog and multiply those.
- Let an AI agent keep the channels fed while the team writes the next big piece.
