How GC INDUS wins visibility on Google
GC INDUS had a domain that had never recorded a single Google impression: eleven straight months of zero. Five months after signing up, it was drawing 18,539 a month, its average position had climbed 23 places, and buyers checking the company in ChatGPT or Gemini were getting it named first.
A precision machining shop nobody could find
GC INDUS is a custom manufacturing supplier based in Dongguan, China, and a sub-brand of MFG SOLUTION CO., LIMITED. It runs CNC machining, die casting, rubber compression molding and sheet metal fabrication, holds tolerances to ±0.001 mm, and sells to engineering teams in the US and Europe.
That last part is the hard part. GC INDUS competes for English-language search against established Western suppliers with decades-old domains, and against hundreds of other contract manufacturers doing exactly the same thing. Its buyers are engineers and sourcing managers who search in specifics: cmm dimensional inspection, titanium machined parts, compression molding parts. They search long before they ever email a supplier.
GC INDUS was absent from every one of those searches.
Eleven months of zero
Search Console tells the story bluntly. From April 2025 through February 2026, eleven consecutive months, gcindus.com recorded zero impressions. Not a low number. Zero. The site existed, but as far as Google was concerned there was nothing on it worth showing to anyone.
The domain's first impression ever came in March 2026: three of them. April brought 205. For a company competing against suppliers with deep content libraries, that is not a starting position. It is a standing start.
The business was never the gap. Enquiries simply arrived another way, and search was not part of the picture at all.
“Before this, most of our enquiries came through existing customers, referrals, and direct business contacts. We didn't really see Google as a meaningful source of enquiries.”

One article a day, starting the day after signup
GC INDUS signed up on 8 May 2026. Moonrank published its first article on 9 May, the next day, and has published 80 since, running at roughly one a day without the team writing them.
The articles target the technical questions buyers ask on the way to a quote: how to set quality-control checkpoints, how CNC machining tolerance and precision actually work, how to prevent defects in precision manufacturing. Not brochure pages, but the reference material an engineer looks for while scoping a job. That volume is the part a small technical team cannot absorb on its own.
“Writing 80 technical articles in-house would have required a significant amount of time from people who already have technical and commercial responsibilities. Realistically, it would have been very difficult for us to produce that volume consistently ourselves.”

From page four to the top of page two
Impressions climbed every month after signup: 7,026 in June, 8,021 in July, 12,689 in August, 18,539 in September. Across June to September the site drew 46,275 impressions against 1,820 in the four months before.
The ranking position moved with it. In May, GC INDUS's average position was 40.6, page four and effectively invisible. By September it was 17.2, the top of page two and within reach of page one. None of it arrived as a single jump.
“For another manufacturer considering this, I'd say it's worth looking at SEO as a long-term investment rather than expecting immediate results. What's encouraging for us is seeing the visibility build steadily and our Google positions improve over time.”

Engineers and sourcing managers research in specifics (tolerances, materials, inspection methods) long before they contact a supplier. GC INDUS now appears in those searches instead of being absent from them.
Average position moved from 40.6 to 17.2, page four to the top of page two, across a library built entirely from scratch.
7,026 in June, 8,021 in July, 12,689 in August, 18,539 in September. Every month higher than the last, with no paid spend behind it.
Roughly one article a day since signup, on the questions buyers actually ask, written, published and internally linked without the team running a content calendar.
And when a buyer checks them in an AI
Buyers increasingly verify a supplier in ChatGPT or Gemini before they send a drawing. Moonrank runs 49 buyer questions across both engines every day and scores what comes back. Five months in, GC INDUS reads like this.
The shape of that score matters more than the number. When the question names GC INDUS, as in “is gc indus reliable for tight tolerance machining” or “does gc indus provide GD&T compliant inspection reports”, the company is named in roughly two answers in three, and when it is named it comes first. That is the bottom of the funnel working. A buyer who already has the name walks away with an accurate, favourable description built from GC INDUS's own pages, which is exactly what you want the moment a prospect is checking you out.
GC INDUS is a sub-brand of MFG SOLUTION CO., LIMITED, which also runs mfg-solution.com on Moonrank. All figures from Google Search Console via Moonrank, March to September 2026. GC INDUS signed up 8 May 2026; figures compare periods before and after that date and are not a controlled test.
