What is the FAQ Page skill?
The FAQ Page skill is how Moonrank's Writer Agent turns support tickets, sales calls, and search queries into a page that handles objections in public: real questions in the buyer's own wording, answered in two sentences, resolution before links.
It's written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that people and AI agents can both follow. Read it to rebuild your own FAQ, or let the Writer Agent mine your query data for the questions and draft the answers.
Downloading the playbook is free with a Moonrank account. Watching which questions buyers ask next and keeping the page current is what the Writer Agent does.
See it in action
“Our FAQ page gets traffic but sales says leads still show up asking the same basic questions. What's wrong with it?”
Your FAQ has 14 questions and only 3 of them appear anywhere in your tickets or search data — the other 11 were invented. Meanwhile the 5 questions buyers ask most, including "can I migrate from my current tool without losing data?", aren't on the page at all. Rebuild from the ticket data: 12 real questions in the buyer's wording, two-sentence answers, FAQPage schema, and the migration question at the top.
From input to fix list
- 1
You provide the sources
Support tickets, sales call notes, chat logs — wherever real questions live.
- 2
Moonrank collects and filters
The Writer Agent pulls the real questions, keeps buyer concerns, and routes how-to questions to docs.
- 3
It drafts two-sentence answers
Resolution first — including the uncomfortable ones — then one link deeper.
- 4
It orders and marks up
Most-asked first, FAQPage schema mirroring the visible text, unanswerable questions routed to the team.
Everything it checks
Real-question sourcing
Tickets, calls, site search, and query data — nothing invented.
Buyer/support split
Pre-purchase concerns stay on the page; how-to questions move to docs.
Customer wording
Questions phrased as asked — what people search and what AI answers match.
Two-sentence answer format
Resolve the concern, then link deeper. Never a pitch, never just a link.
Frequency ordering
Most-asked first, sections only past ten questions.
FAQPage schema
Structured data mirroring the visible text, one question per entry.
When to reach for it
- Stop support and sales answering the same ten questions by hand.
- Replace an invented FAQ with the questions buyers actually ask.
- Address the objection that stalls deals — pricing, migration, security — head-on.
- Get your answers picked up by AI assistants that quote FAQ pages.
- Surface the questions you can't answer yet and route them to the team.
